XACTA Laser Provides High Visibility
To help ensure that each cut is precise and the blade goes exactly where you want it, the JMS-10CMS comes equipped with the patented green XACTA laser--a Jet exclusive. This special laser emits a distinct green light that is much easier to see in bright, outdoor conditions than are the more common red colored versions. The laser is also mounted in special housing just behind the blade, where it remains out of the operator's direct line of vision but still projects its finely focused alignment light across the wood in clear view.

Die-Cast Aluminum Construction for Durability and Portability
Made to stand up to years of repetitive use, the JMS-10CMS features die-cast aluminum construction that's exceptionally durable without being bulky or hard to handle. In fact, thanks to its lightweight design and dual rubber grip carrying handles, this miter saw is easy to transport from site to site.

Ergonomic Handle and Up-Front Controls for Safety
The JMS-10CMS boasts an ergonomic, D-shaped over molded handle for a steady, secure, and comfortable grip. This design also gives you maximum control during cutting operations.

The JMS-10CMS operates with an efficient and ultra-powerful 15 Amp, 4800 RPM motor that can tackle a variety of jobs. Additionally, a convenient hold-down clamp tightens securely to the work piece to ensure an accurate cut, and a quick cam miter lock adjusts and stops at a total of ten detents at 0, 15, 22.5, 31.6, 45 degrees left and right, and 60 degrees right, offering you more flexibility and control as you work.

Extension Wings and Easy-Slide Fence for Support
This model includes sheet metal extension wings to provide additional work piece support, especially when dealing with larger materials. It also has an easy-slide fence that extends even further to keep the work piece in the proper position as you make cuts.

The JMS-10CMS measures 20.1 x 17.3 x 23.2 inches (WxHxD) and weighs 33.3 pounds. It is backed by a three-year warranty.
