Happy with remote unit and at $35 on sale and shipping included, it was a good bargain. For some reason, however, it fried a 20amp circuit breaker the first time I fired up the unit with my HF dust collector. Since then, everything has been running fine. You must be able to point the remote at the unit itself--the signal will not go through walls or objects. The receiver unit has a longish power cord (about 6 ft long), so I mounted it higher up on a wall so it won't get blocked. It came with one remote--I do wish it came with two remotes.
